Danca Da Liberdade has extensive experience delivering capoeira workshops in schools, as part of community events, Black History Month and international celebrations, and corporate and team building workshops.

School programmes

We regularly run both one-off and ongoing capoeira education programmes in schools and colleges, and can work with all ages from 3 years upwards.  Programmes can run as after-school sessions, breakfast clubs or during curriculum time.  We can tailor provision to focus on the cultural/historical aspects, music, language, dance or martial arts/fitness.  

Mostly we tend to cover all the above!

Performances

Danca Da Liberdade regularly performs in South London and across the UK.  As well as capoeira shows, we also perform Afro-Brazilian dances including Maculele, Samba and Bale-Afro.  Performances can be tailored to work with particular remits/budgets, and can vary in scale from 2 performers to a full team, including live musicians.
